		asanisimasa kamen erstmals 1997 anläßlich einer kommerziellen Aufnahmesession im Sirene Tonstudio, Essen zusammen und klangen buchstäblich vom ersten Ton an wie eine eingespielte Besetzung. Begeistert von dieser perfekten Chemie enstand bei den Beteiligten Cornelius Borgolte, Marius Goldhammer, Mickes Lücker und Wolf Simon der Wunsch nach weiterer musikalischer Zusammenarbeit. Das Ergebnis ist eine herausragende Band, die bewußt an das Konzept deutscher Legenden wie Can und Kraftwerk anknüpft: mit hochinspirierten Musikern, die ihre Instrumente perfekt beherrschen und neuen musikalischen Wegen sowie neuen Technologien gegenüber aufgeschlossen sind. Die ganz eigene Sprache der Musiker und die verschiedensten Musikrichtungen verschmelzen zu einem Ergebnis, das wegen der Stilzitate aus diversen Epochen und Genres häufig an Filmmusik erinnert und zunehmend von Regisseuren als solche verwendet wird. asanisimasa first met on a recording session at Sirene Studios, located in Germany´s Ruhrarea and sounded like a wellrehearsed band, literally from the very first note on. Triggered by this perfect chemistry, the musicians involved, i.e. Cornelius Borgolte, Marius Goldhammer, Mickes Lücker and Wolf Simon, were ready to team up for future musical activities. The outcome is an incredible band, that roots on the heritage of german legends like Can and Kraftwerk: with highly inspired musicians who have perfect command of their instruments and who are open to experimentation with new musical forms and technology. The very individual aproaches (of playing) of each musician and the many different musical styles fuse together into a unique result. Because of their many quotes from all different kinds of music, asanisimasa often reminds people of film music and get increasing attention from directors for the use as such. (Nevertheless especially in the proximity of 70´s disco or 50´s spy music, it is the recognizeable taste for texture and arrangement, the care for detail and the fine sense of humour which make a tune "pure asanisimasa".)		Cornelius Borgolte keyboards, saxophone, clarinet Cornelius studierte klassische Klarinette an der renommierten Folkwang-Hochschule in Essen. Schon während des Studiums wurde er zu einem gefragten Studio-Saxofonisten. Er spielte Alben ein mit Künstlern wie Simon Phillips und Pino Palladino. Seit 1992 ist er Klarinettist an der deutschen Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf). 1995 gründete Cornelius das Sirene-Tonstudio in Essen, das quasi die Heimat von asanisimasa ist. Conelius ist in Deutschland ein gefragter Komponist für Theater-Produktionen und Filmmusik. Tourneen mit Bands und Orchestern führten ihn durch ganz Europa, nach Columbien, in die U.S.A., nach China, Japan, Skandinavien und die Kanarischen Inseln. Cornelius studied classical clarinet at the famous Folkwang-Highschool in Essen. Before finishing his studies he was already being requested as a session and live saxophon player. He played on albums with artists such as Simon Phillips and Pino Palladino. Since 1992 he has been playing clarinet at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. In 1995 he founded the Sirene-sound studio in Essen, which has become the homebase for asanisimasa. In Germany he is a sought after composer for theater productions and film music. Er spielte, um nur die international bekannten acts zu nennen, u.a. mit Marla Glen, Gloria Gaynor, Randy Crawford, Joe Sample, The Supremes, Sandy Reed, ... Tourneen führten ihn durch ganz Europa, Sibirien, Japan, Vereinte Arabische Emirate, Indien und Afrika. Er studierte an der Kunsthochschule Arnheim/Niederlande Gitarre, Percussion und Arrangement. Seit 1986 ist er als Studiomusiker, Komponist und Arrangeur für CD-Produktionen, sowie Kino- und TV-Scores tätig. Live spielte er unter anderem mit Anne Haigis, Jaki Liebezeit, Nippi Noya, Valerie Scott, Stevie Woods, ... Mickes ist wegen seiner goldenen Ohren und seines umfangreichen technischen Wissens außerdem ein gefragter Tontechniker. At the age of 11 Mickes fell in love with the guitar. He studied guitar, percussion and arrangement at the High School of Arts in Arnheim/Netherlands. Since 1986 he has worked as a studio musician, composer and producer for cd-productions as well as on movie and TV-scores. Heute ist er ein international gefragter Session- und Live-Schlagzeuger; darüberhinaus arbeitet er immer häufiger als Musical Director für Großproduktionen: 1997 für das "Fräuleinwunder" Tic Tac Toe, von 1999 bis 2001 für ein sehr erfolgreiches Musical, seit 2000 auch für Bastiaan Ragas (Caught In The Act). Seine Karriere führte ihn stilübergreifend mit Jennifer Rush, dem New Yorker Geiger Billy Bang, dem australischen Songwriter Grant Stevens, dem Jazzurgestein Albert Mangelsdorff und zahllosen europäischen Acts zusammen; auf etwa 110 Albumproduktionen ist das zu hören. Seit drei Jahren spielt Wolf auch in der Band des New Yorker Sängers/Bassisten T.M. Stevens (Tourneen in den USA, Japan und Europa).
